Bosco de Rudo - Fodara Védla
The basin of Cianpo de Croš and Ra Stua is surrounded by a thin, magnificent sub-alpine forest of spruce and larches that ascends to Rudo plateau. Of little importance for the production of wood, the forest has aged and is rich in century-old plants which make an extraordinary habitat for woodpeckers and owls, like the three-toed woodpecker (Picoides tridactylus) and the pigmy owl (Glaucidium passerinum).
